Mor than 16 Lac cases of cheque bounce are going on in India recently. Of which 32 thousand cases are going on in the High Courts.Within a big country like India there are many types of scams in the bank.There is no loss to the customer of the bank when the cheque bounces, but the person receiving the cheque has to suffer a lot of loss.
Minister of State for Finance Shiv Pratap Shukla said that presently many cases of cheque bouncin are going on throughout the country, before presenting the bill, The Minister also said that changes have been made in order to provide relief to those who receive the cheque.
If there is no money in your account. Despite this, you pay someone a cheque and your cheque is bounced due to non-availability of funds in the bank account or a wrong sign on the cheque. Then be cautious, on July 26, a rule has been passed in Parliament, in which you can be jailed if the cheque bounces. In this case, fines can also be imposed. On the basis of this rule, if the cheque is bounced, the accused will have to deposit 20% of the amount in the court as a compensation. If your cheque is bounced then you may also have to suffer a 2-year jail. State Finance Minister Shiv Pratap Shukla said that from time to time, the law has been amended and the law will continue to be further. Minister Shiv Pratap Shukla said that if such a law is enforced then cases of cheque bounce will be restricted to a large extent and the burden of check bounce laws in the courts will also be greatly reduced.
